High Key
Oil on Canvas, 18x36 in.This was one half of a High/Low Key assignment, wherein my objective was to display an understanding of using a high-key palette when applied to the figure. I worked from a model for both of these paintings.
Low Key
Oil on Canvas, 18x36 in.This was the other half of a High/Low Key assignment, wherein my objective was to display an understanding of using a low-key palette when applied to the figure. I worked from the same model with the same light source as the high-key painting to achieve this result.
