Ceramic Space
Mixed Media Painting, 4in & 8inI have always been fascinated with painting things on ceramics. These plates were painted with that in mind to accompany a space-themed mixed media installation. They are to be treated as windows into the great universe. A retardant was applied to control blending with a stippling brush and a detail brush was used to paint the gold rim around each plate.
